Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit the United States from September 21 to 23, as announced by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) on Tuesday. His visit will include significant meetings, an address to the Indian diaspora, and participation in key international forums.

The visit will commence with the Quad Leaders’ Summit, where the leaders of Japan, Australia, India, and the United States will convene. The summit will review the progress made over the past year and set the agenda for supporting development goals in Indo-Pacific countries. Discussions will focus on the Quad’s influence in the region and its role in promoting stability and cooperation.

September 22: ‘Modi & US Progress Together’ Event in New York

On September 22, PM Modi will travel to New York to address a major gathering of the Indian diaspora at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum. The event, titled “Modi & US Progress Together,” is expected to attract over 24,000 attendees from the Indian community. The event will celebrate the growing ties between India and the U.S., highlighting collaborative progress in various sectors.

In New York, PM Modi will also meet with CEOs from leading U.S. companies. These discussions will focus on enhancing collaboration in cutting-edge fields such as artificial intelligence (AI), quantum computing, semiconductors, and biotechnology. This engagement aligns with India’s goals for technological advancement and will further strengthen the economic partnership between India and the U.S.

September 23: ‘Summit of the Future’ at UNGA

The final day of PM Modi’s visit will see him address the “Summit of the Future” at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York. This year’s summit theme, “Multilateral Solutions for a Better Tomorrow,” emphasizes global cooperation to tackle future challenges.

The summit will be attended by world leaders from across the globe, making it a pivotal diplomatic event. On the sidelines of the summit, PM Modi is expected to hold bilateral meetings with several global leaders to discuss various issues of mutual interest, further enhancing India’s international standing.
