The tall, dark and good looking actor Prabhas is the talk of the town. He is Tollywood’s own special Greek God, Prabhas otherwise known as the perfect work of art himself, Baahubali. The performing artist, who turns 38 today, is a standout amongst others from the Telugu film industry to Indian silver screen. The actor, who shot with SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali and Baahubali: The Conclusion has made a charming space for himself in the Indian film industry and has launched an excited Prabhas armed force of fans.
So on this superstar’s bday here are a few lesser-known facts about Prabhas:
Prabhas’s real name is Venkata Satyanarayana Prabhas Raju Uppalapati. He is the son of Producer U. Suryanarayana Raju and his wife Siva Kumari. He has two siblings and is the nephew of actor Uppalapati Krishnam Raju.
The actor graced the film business in 2002 with Jayanth C. Paranjape’s Eeshwaropposite Sridevi Vijaykumar, which sadly, couldn’t do much in the cinema world. With spanning over 15 years, the actor has been a part of various films like Varsham, Rebel, Darling, Chatrapathi, Mr Perfect, and the Baahubali series.
Prabhas is the first South Indian star to have his own wax statue at Madame Tussauds, Bangkok. “I am really happy to have been selected by Madame Tussauds’ and I think this was only possible because of fans. I am grateful for their unconditional love and support. I am also thankful to my guru, SS Rajamouli, for the opportunity to work on this fantastic project Baahubali,” the actor said.

Prabhas made his entry into Bollywood in Prabhu Deva’s Action Jackson starring Ajay Devgn. Prabhas’ upcoming film, Saaho, with Shraddha Kapoor’s, will be her Telugu debut. The film is shot in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
Prabhas, along with his uncle and veteran actor Krishnam Raju was invited by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. “Today is the best day of my life. I am a big fan (of Narendra Modi) and I can never forget this day. I spoke about Baahubali, I asked him to watch (the film) if he has the time. He said that he’s a little busy but if he can, he surely will.” the actor said.
