After Spanish Football Club Barcelona lost their second-best forward, Neymar JR, they are constantly looking for his replacement. However, they are in substantial talks with the OCG Nice midfielder, Jean Michael Seri. According to the recent reports, the Ivorian footballer already agreed to the terms with his club, Catalan Giants.
But, the striking thing revolving around this transfer is the release clause of Jean Michael Seri. According to the first reports, Jean Michael Seri had a release clause of €40 million. However, according to Marca, his term expired on July 15 already.
With these reports coming around, FC Barcelona will now have to pay more to sign Jean Michael Seri in the forthcoming days.
But another twist is that the agent of Jean Seri is confident that there is still time for expiration of his release clause. Last evening reports suggest that the Catalan Giants are trying to negotiate the fee because according to them, they can get him for a steal price.
Spanish report it as a done deal. However, Julien Fournier, the Manager for OCG Nice, put the news on the ground. He stated that these were just rumors and they are not negotiating with FC Barcelone over Jean.
