Yusuf Pathan got off to an excellent start this Ranji Trophy as he slammed consecutive centuries for Baroda. The way Irfan Pathan celebrated his brother’s success was a joy to watch.
Yusuf Pathan wouldn’t have asked for a better start to Ranji Trophy 2017-18 campaign with Baroda. The burly all-rounder hammered back-to-back centuries in the first match itself against Madhya Pradesh recently.
Yusuf Pathan and Irfan Pathan might no more be a part of the Indian cricket team, but they continue to bring laurels for their Ranji team Baroda. The Pathan brothers, who witnessed plenty of struggle during their early cricketing days, share a great camaraderie on and off the field.

Yusuf posted centuries in both the innings as he made 111 runs in the first while he remained unbeaten on 136 in second.
Irfan had earlier rued the fact that the Group C match in the ongoing Ranji Trophy 2017-18 was not telecast on TV.
In the first innings, Yusuf smacked 13 fours and six sixes to score 111 off 125 balls. Whereas in the second, the right-hander was even more belligerent. He hammered 16 sixes and seven fours to score 136 off 154 balls.
Irfan was dismissed for 80. Yusuf took the onus on his shoulders and it was because of his knock that MP had to bat again. They easily went on to chase the 70-run total.
