Kidambi Srikanth, PV Sindhu, Saina Nehwal and HS Prannoy, all made it to the semi-finals of the National Badminton Titles on Monday.
The other men’s singles semi-last will be amongst Prannoy and Subhankar Dey.
While Prannoy edged past Parupalli Kashyap 22-20, 21-19 out of 39 minutes. Subhankar dazed B Sai Praneeth originating from an amusement down to win the match 13-21, 21-18, 22-20.
In the ladies’ singles, PV Sindhu steamrolled over Shriyanshi Pardeshi 21-11, 21-17 in only 30 minutes. She set up a semi-last conflict with Ruthvika Shivani, who prior beat Rasika Raje 21-14, 21-5.
Saina Nehwal too barely started to sweat and east past Aakarshi Kashyap 21-17, 21-10 out of 33 minutes to enter the semi-last. Nehwal will go up against Anura Prabhudesai, who entered the semis with a 21-19, 21-9 triumph over Saili Rane.
In the pairs classification, all the best seeds made it to the quarter-finals.
The procedures in the quarter-finals began with the blended copies team of Satwik Sai Raj R and Ashwini Ponnappa going up against Shivam Sharma and Poorvisha S Smash.
