Kidambi Srikanth and giant-killer H S Prannoy will clash in the men’s singles final at the 82nd Senior Badminton National championship here on Wednesday.
Second seed Prannoy overcame Subhankar Dey 21-14 21-17, while top seed Srikanth saw off young rising shuttler Lakshya Sen 21-16, 21-18.
Srikanth who had the last laugh as he moved ahead to a 18-15 lead with a smash and closed the issue when Lakshya found the net.
Saina Nehwal too barely started to sweat and east past Aakarshi Kashyap 21-17, 21-10 out of 33 minutes to enter the semi-last. Nehwal will go up against Anura Prabhudesai, who entered the semis with a 21-19, 21-9 triumph over Saili Rane.

In the pairs classification, all the best seeds made it to the quarter-finals.
