Ahead of 2nd Test, Virat Kohli and Co visit India House in Johannesburg
After a disastrous start to India’s tour of South Africa in Cape Town, the Virat Kohli led team will be looking to turn things around in Johannesburg in the second Test which begins on January 13th. Ahead of the match though the Indian cricket team took some time out to pay a visit to the India House in the city.
In a social media post from the BCCI which had multiple pictures of the team’s visit to the India house, Kohli and the boys seemed to be relaxed ahead of the task on hand. The Indian team who met the High Commissioner at the India House, also interacted with former South African cricketer Ali Bacher. Some of the players like, KL Rahul, Hardik Pandya and Murali Vijay also obliged fans present by posing for photographs with them.
Earlier in the day, the Indian team began training for the second Test, which is a must win one if they have any hope of continuing the streak of series wins.

Interestingly, it was the bowlers who took first strike at the nets with Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Shami and Bhuvneshwar Kumar walking in to bat. While one net had batting coach Sanjay Bangar giving throwdowns, the other two had the net bowlers and the Indian pacers going full throttle.
Well, we decided to go on current form. Rohit has scored runs in the last three Test matches that he has played, and he was batting well, even in the series against Sri Lanka,” said the 29-year-old.
