The Pakistani fast bowler, Mohammad Amir will miss the T20I series against World XI. A high profile cricket series, in Pakistan, is returning after a long time. After the 2009 attacks, we did not see a high profile match in Pakistan. Sarfraz Ahmed confirmed the unavailability of the Pakistani ace bowler on Monday. Mohammad Amir will be in WK because he is expecting a child. He wants to be with his wife during the time.
Mohammad Amir has never played an international game in front of his home crowd. As a result of his unavailability, Sohail Khan will replace him for the series. Sarfraz Ahmed, regarding this chain of events, said:
“There is no change of plan as we had already named a 16-man squad with Sohail Khan as an extra bowler with Amir expecting his first baby. Unfortunately, he isn’t available, but we have full options available.”
