According to the latest reports, Manchester City bid £50 million on Alexis Sanchez. However, Arsenal rejected the bid on the Chilean forward. The Blues were confident of signing Alexis before the transfer window closes. Though, the Gunners turned this bid down.
However, according to close sources, Manchester City remain confident in signing Sanchez before the transfer window closes.
On Tuesday, there were talks over the possible shift of the Chilean forward from Arsenal to Manchester City. However, the Gunners insisted on not selling their Ace forward player.
Also, Arsenal proposed the idea of including the City Mid-Fielder, Raheem Sterling, in the Alexis Sanchez deal. Manchester City, however, have no intentions of selling the Englishman and are looking for a cash-only deal with Arsenal.

Not only this, but Arsenal have also shown some interest in the Argentine Striker, Sergio Aguero. However, close sources suggest that Sergio Aguero has no intentions to transfer to some other club for now.
Alexis Sanchez informed Arsenal management about his intentions to leave the club in early July. Also, he agreed to the terms with Manchester City about the transfer. It is since April that The Blues are looking to catch The Chilean forward. However, Wenger’s stubbornness is not letting that happen. City, however, believes that the Alexis signing is near.
