After an impressive 5-0 victory against Sri Lanka, Jasprit Bumrah achieved his career-best ranking. With a massive jump of 27 places, Jasprit Bumrah enters the top five rankings for bowlers. He is now at the fourth spot in the ICC ODI Bowlers. Jasprit Bumrah bagged 15 wickets in the 5-match series against Sri Lanka, the most for any fast bowler in a bilateral series. Also, he won the Man of the Series award in the ODIs for his record-breaking performance throughout the series.
Bumrah is not the only player who gained in the rankings in the tour. The left-arm orthodox, Axar Patel has entered the Top 10 rankings for bowlers. He took six wickets in the series, thus jumping from #20 to #10 spot.

On the other hand, Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s maiden five-wicket haul has helped him move to the 14th place in the Bowler’s list. The wrist-spinners’ duo of India also entered the top 100. Kuldeep Yadav sits at #89 whereas Yuzvendra Chahal is now at #99.
From the batsmen list, Indian powerhouse, Virat Kohli maintained his #1 spot after two successive centuries. Furthermore, Rohit Sharma scored over 300 runs in the series. With that performance, he jumped up five spots to enter the Top 10 ODI batsmen. He currently sits at #9. Also, MS Dhoni’s unbeaten tour has led to MS Dhoni entering the Top 10 once again. He is now the new #10 batsman.
