According to the latest reports, Cricket Australia discovered about 3000 tickets from unauthorized sources sold at higher prices. Some private sellers sold their tickets at higher prices, and now, Cricket Australia will resell the tickets via official sources. The tickets were for the upcoming Ashes test match at Perth. Also, the board, on Wednesday, announced the resale of tickets on Monday.
Cricket Australia discovered 2890 being sold on eBay for the Perth Test, scheduled for December 14-18. ‘Queen of tickets’ were selling the tickets. As a result, Cricket Australia seized those tickets and will put them back on sale coming Monday. According to CA’s Executive General Manager Events and Leagues, Anthony Everard:
“We know that tickets are in high demand for this series and this is a very clear message to those who try to take advantage of the system and scalp tickets at inflated prices, that we will identify and cancel tickets, in accordance with our terms and conditions.”

This might be the last match at the WACA. The reason behind is that higher authorities are considering to shift it to a higher-capacity stadium at Burswood. Naturally, there will be a higher demand for the tickets here. As a result of this decision, tickets for the first three days of the Perth test will be available. Tickets will now be available at lesser price.
