The Twitter banter between Virender Sehwag and New Zealand Ross Taylor has continued ever since the Kiwis arrived in India.
But now, Viru has taken the whole conversation to another level by asking UIDAI for eligibility criteria of the Kiwi.
After multiple Twitter conversations regarding Ross’ name being converted from Taylor to Darji (Tailor). The veteran Black Caps star started posting on social media in Hindi. But Sehwag wasn’t shying away either and kept the banter going.
Impressed by the Ross’ Hindi, Sehwag involved UIDAI in the conversation, asking if the Kiwi star was eligible for an Aadhaar card.
The official Twitter account of Aadhaar (@UIDAI) then clairified the rules to the former Indian opener, saying that it is the nationality because of which Taylor can’t get an Aadhaar card and language is never a barrier.
Highly impressed by you @RossLTaylor . @UIDAI , can he be eligible for an Aadhaar Card for such wonderful Hindi skills. https://t.co/zm3YXJdhk2
