Earlier, South Africa were bowled out for 335 in the first session of day two. Thanks to ace spinner Ravichandran Ashwin’s 4-wicket haul, which is the also the first instance by an Indian spinner in the first innings of a Test in South Africa. During the first innings, pacer Mohammed Shami also completed his 100 Test wickets.
Coming to India’s innings, once again they had a crumbling start but better as compared to the first Test. Opener KL Rahul departed for 10, while Cheteshwar Pujara was run out for a golden duck. However, later Kohli lost his partner Vijay for 46, with whom Kohli was thinking of batting till the day end.
