Jasprit Bumrah roasted by Twitterati for claiming crucial wicket off a no-ball.
India captain for the ODI, T20 series against Sri Lanka, Rohit Sharma brushed off claims that the Jasprit Bumrah no ball to dismiss opener Upul Tharanga was a turning point in the first ODI in Dharamsala. In the low scoring affair at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium, India were dismissed for 112. Before this, Sri Lanka already came back to chase down the low target with seven wickets to spare. Contrary to Rohit, Sri Lanka coach Nic Pothas believes that was a turning point in the match.
In the 2017 Champions Trophy Final, Bumrah took Pakistan batsman Fakhar Zaman’s wicket off a no-ball. He was severely punished for that as Zaman went on to post a match-winning 114.
Bumrah was shown no mercy by the Twitterati as they trolled the bowler brutally.
I think Burmah should keep this as his DP.
And to his honourary, No ball should be replaces with Bumrah ball. pic.twitter.com/o3tlkPWaNE

Sri Lanka coach Nic Pothas believed Bumrah’s no-ball was one of the turning points of the match.
“I firmly believe that there were two massive moments in the game,” Pothas said.
