Mind Blowing Bullet throw by Virat Kohli Dismisses Australian Batsman Daniel Christian

Daniel Christian’s in the Australian T20I side was much awaited. The experienced all-rounder has been enjoying a great year in T20 franchise cricket.

He ended up as runners-up for Rising Pune Supergiant (RPS) in the IPL 2017. Following that he helped Nottinghamshire win the NatWest Blast T20 and then enjoyed another triumph with Trinbago Knight Riders (TKK) in CPL.

Christian expected to boost the Australian scoring in the death overs but denied the opportunity. First the Indian bowlers kept it their line tight. He had got only 8 from the first 12 balls. In the start of the 19th over, he whacked Bhuvneshwar Kumar in the mid-on region and called for 2.

Upon winning a handy toss, Kohli decided to chase due to the uncertainty caused by the possibility of rain. On a sluggish surface, Australia struggled to break free from the clutches of a fit and firing Indian bowling attack. Bhuvneshwar Kumar landed the early blow by castling the dangerous David Warner.

The ‘Men in Blue’ have now taken a 1-0 lead in the three-match T20I series. The second match will played in Guwahati on Tuesday.

The hosts were given a target of 48 runs to chase in 6 overs after rain played spoilsport right at the end of the Aussie innings. Kohli finished the game off in style in Dhoni’s homeland. He hit a boundary to get India over the line. Kohli and Dhawan put on an unbeaten 38-run partnership for the hosts and India won the match with no further jitters.
