India registered a huge 53-run win against the visiting New Zealand side to give Nehra a great farewell.
Ashish Nehra bid adieu to his career after a T20I at his home venue Feroz Shah Kotla in Delhi where he began his professional career. Team India registered a huge 53-run win against the visiting New Zealand side to give Nehra a great farewell.
Nehra’s last matches in all the three formats resulted in India’s win and in fact in some special and significant wins. The current win against New Zealand was the team’s first ever in the T20I format. Bringing an end to their 10-year wait after losing on all the five previous meetings against the Kiwis.

Indian team is honoring the master bowler by presenting him a special gift, which actually is a memento. All the teammates circled Nehra, while, captain Virat Kohli stepped forward congratulating and thanking the senior bowler. He has done for the team in all these years.
Roaring his way back into the mix, Nehra set the 2015 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) on fire, picking up 22 wickets for Chennai Super Kings. Six months later, he was brought back to the fold for a tour of Australia. And, with his magical spells, India clinched their first limited-overs trophy Down Under.
