Armed forces Flag day has got many tweets and wishes from the Sports-persons and Celebrities.
The Indian cricket team sported the Armed Forces badges on their jerseys. During the third Test against Sri Lanka at Delhi’s Feroz Shah Kotla to commemorate the Armed Forces Week. The Armed Forces Flag Day has been observed on December 7 since 1949 throughout the country to honour the martyrs and the men in uniform.
The Indian cricketer has always expressed his views openly about joining the army. The cricketer also initiated a Foundation, which takes care of the education expenses of the children of the martyred soldiers in the Sukma Maoist attack in Chattisgarh. He may not equate his real life job with that of his desired job, but we may agree that he served the country in his own inimitable way.
