Senior Indian batsman Yuvraj Singh took to his Instagram record to share seemingly the most unusual expulsion ever.
The left-hander, who is attempting to make a rebound in the Indian group, posted an abnormal video on his Instagram account. In the mutual video, a batsman was given out by the umpire regardless of leaving the ball securely into the wicket-keeper’s gloves.
Nobody bid, the ball didn’t hit the wickets nor it touched his cushions. The choice left the dominant part befuddled. We trust there are considerably more such rejections he would partake so as to come. Much the same as Yuvraj, even his adherents were left astounded in the wake of viewing the video.
For all those asking…
This match was played for charity in 2007. The rules for this match was that if a batsman leaves two balls, which are playable, without playing a shot in the same over, the umpire can declare you out. And that’s what happened in this case! pic.twitter.com/iZA1C3sT72— Mohandas Menon (@mohanstatsman) November 13, 2017
Just like Yuvraj, even his followers were left puzzled after watching the video.
Later on, prestigious analyst Mohandas Memon clarified the rationale behind the rejection.
“For each one of those asking… This match was played for philanthropy in 2007. The standards for this match was that if a batsman leaves two balls, which are playable, without playing a shot in the same over, the umpire can proclaim you out. What’s more, that is the thing that occurred for this situation!” he tweeted.
