The singer turned performing artist, Diljit Dosanjh has given his fans a news to celebrate. Diljit has returned to overcome hearts in his next Hindi venture titled Arjun Patiala. The title is assumed to have been influenced from Diljit’s acclaimed track, “Patiala Peg”, however, unfortunately, this film has nothing to do with his chartbuster.This time, Diljit would be matched inverse sultry siren Kriti Sanon, who is straight from the accomplishment of her last film Bareilly Ki Barfi.
Diljit expressed through his Facebook account “Acha… Tu Selfian Ley La Svere Svere???? Chakkar Ki Aa Dosanjhan Waleya…???? #ArjunPatiala #kritisanon #MaddockFilms #DineshVijan LARGER THAN LIFE ????” indeed, he posted four pictures with Kriti too.
In the film, Kriti Sanon plays a columnist while Diljit in the main part is a peculiar, residential community fellow. It’s a character-driven parody with a touch of enchantment authenticity and extraordinary music. The film will come in February 2018 in Punjab.
Dinesh, the director said, “The Hindi film audience has already experienced Diljit’s intensity, now it’s time to laugh with him. Kriti is moving from Bareilly to Patiala to deliver another small town surprise and this time she is holding a pen.”
Kriti, said about the project, “I love watching good comedies and while shooting for Bareilly Ki Barfi I realised that I enjoyed being a part of this world too. I am really looking forward to start shoot for Arjun Patiala with Diljit who I feel is extremely talented and I am also thrilled to be back with the Maddock team.”
