Whenever superstar Rajinikanth and Shankar come together every time it is something extraordinary as a result. The two of them did a film in 2010, Enthiran, and such a film wasn’t seen before in the Indian film industry. And this time with what they are doing in 2.o is much a blast than the last time. Rajini Sir in the movie is spotted playing the role of a scientist and Robot 2.o. The glimpse of the movie legitimises the sumptuous spending of Rs 400 crore, making it the costliest Asian film to be at any point made.
Robot 2.0 is likely to be released in 7000 plus screens worldwide. Academy Award-winner, composer AR Rahman is also seen composing the music for this series of the movie too as it is seen in a glimpse of the video released recently. The movie also has Akshay Kumar playing a negative role in it. The process of turning Akshay Kumar into a villainous character required D. Richard to find hundreds of make-up artists bathing him in special solutions. From miniature models to giant machines, everything is larger than life.
The film, which has Amy Jackson opposite Rajinikanth, will hit the screens on January 25, 2018. Sudhanshu Pandey and Adil Hussain will also be seen in important roles.
