Sony Entertainment Television has finally decided to put an end to one of their popular comedy weekend show The Kapil Sharma Show (TKSS).
But why did Kapil Sharma leave?
The reason behind this is not Kapil Sharma’s temper but his health issues apparently. A source close to the show informed that the show has been in controversy ever since Kapil Sharma fought with his co-star Sunil Grover. But lately, Kapil’s health issues have forced him to cancel the shoots of The Kapil Sharma Show. Last week the channel had to air old episodes. In fact, for the upcoming week too, there is no new episode to be aired. Kapil’s health is worsening and this is the reason why makers have apparently decided to end the show for now. However, it is heard that Kapil and his team will return soon after a short break.
Rumours have it that rival Krushna Abhishek’s The Drama Company will replace The Kapil Sharma Show. It is also in the news that Super Dancer will take The Drama Company’s time slot of 8 pm, while the latter will be pushed to Kapil’s air time of 9 pm.
An official spokesperson from the channel said: “Kapil has been under the weather for some time now. Due to which, we have mutually agreed to take a short break. However once Kapil has recovered completely, we will start shooting once again. We value our relationship with Kapil and wish him a speedy recovery.” The channel is waiting for Kapil to recover and get back to life. Whenever this happens, the show might get the 10 pm slot.
