According to users, the iOS 11.2.2 is a minor update, which restores remote access to HomeKit for shared users. The company had disabled it a few months back due to the eruption of a security vulnerability. In addition to iOS 11.2.1, Apple also rolled out tv 11.2.1 with improvements. The HomeKit vulnerability provides unauthorized access to smart home accessories and this was the major cause of concern. Apple had already resolved the bug temporarily by disabling remote access for HomeKit shared users on the server-side. If you install iOS 11.2.1, the HomeKit remote access functionality will be restored.

Ever since Apple released iOS 11, users have been heavily complaining about the problem they are facing with their iPhone and iPad. The issues include autocorrecting bugs, freezing of display during the middle of the work and much more. The iOS 10 was very much stable and the updates were not released regularly. However, the case is not the same with iOS 11 since Apple pushed 8 updates which is alarming.

Apple has decided to release new updates as and when new issues and bugs are reported by users. This will help users to install the update easily instead of waiting for long time to download and install the new software updates.

In addition to HomeKit remote access, the iOS 11.2.1 also provides the fix for the autofocus issue haunting iPhone and iPad users. As a result, users were unable to properly focus on the object while trying to work with the camera via iPhone, iPhone 8 Plus, and iPhone X.
