Chinese smartphone maker has launched the BlackBerry Motion smartphone, its highly-anticipated new Android smartphone. The smartphone is named as BlackBerry Motion
Display
The BlackBerry Motion is a mid-range dual-SIM Android 7.1.1 Nougat smartphone. It sports a 5.5-inch High Definition (720×1280 pixels) display with the protection of DragonTrail and a physical home button which is placed just below the display.
Processor
It is powered by a Snapdragon 625 SoC processor which has a RAM of 4GB. The handset has 32GB of inbuilt onboard storage that can be extended further via the micro SD card of up to 2TB.
Battery
The smartphone has a battery capacity of 4000mAh which is a non-removable with Quick Charge 3.0 support, and a USB Type-C port.
Camera
The smartphone is water-resistant with the 12-megapixel primary rear camera with an f/2.0 aperture, dual-tone LED flash capability and also has the ability to record videos in 4K at 30fps. There’s an 8-megapixel front facing camera with Selfie flash feature for doing video calling and taking selfies. There is also a fingerprint scanner which is placed on the front side.
Connectivity options
The connectivity options on the BlackBerry Motion include 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS/ A-GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, and Micro-USB. Some of the sensors on the phone include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, digital compass, fingerprint sensor (on the home button), gyroscope, and proximity sensor. The smartphone weigh around 144 grams.
