Huawei has launched its new smartphone Nova 2i in the country Malaysia. The new Nova-series handset is an addition to the company that has already unveiled Huawei Nova 2 and Nova 2 Plus devices.
Following the current trend, the new Huawei Nova 2i features FullView display which is a highlight of the device. It also comes with an aspect ratio of 18:9. Another highlight of the Huawei Nova 2i is it sports four cameras: two at the front and two at the back. The smartphone has dual cameras on both the fron and back panels mean that the handset is capable of clicking both shots and portraits.
Display
The Huawei Nova 2i sports a 5.9-inch full-High Definition display, and comes with metal unibody design.
Camera
At the front, it sports a 13-megapixel sensor which is accompanied by a 2-megapixel sensor for depth of field enabled shots. At the back, there’s a 16-megapixel primary sensor clubbed with a 2-megapixel secondary sensor.
Processor and RAM
An octa-core Kirin 659 processor powers and supports the handset clocked at 2.36GHz which is coupled with the RAM of 4GB and 64GB of storage.
Operating system and Battery
It runs on EMUI 5.1 based on Android version 7.0 Nougat. The handset is backed by a battery capacity of 3340mAh which the company claims can deliver up to two days of standby time. The handset also comes with some gesture-based shortcuts like ‘draw an S’ for a long screenshot to capture an entire webpage; ‘tap twice with one finger’ for a screenshot, and ‘tap twice with two fingers’ for screen recording.
