Latest LG G7 Leaks
The phone may be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 chipset, which pits it against Samsung’s Galaxy S9 which, if rumors are to be believed, is going to be powered by Snapdragon 845, making it 25% faster than LG G7. The upcoming smartphone is expected to run on Android Oreo, but it might also opt for the older Android version, Nougat.
The rumors surrounding the phone started surfacing after LG’s official website mentioned support for the “Future LG G7”, which was taken down immediately. A new LG wallet app also made a sudden appearance on Google play store that mentioned LG G7, adding fuel to the fire. Although LG is trying its utmost to keep the flagship device a secret for some time to come, continuous online leaks about the phone have almost confirmed its existence.
LG generally makes its big launches at Barcelona’s annual Mobile World Congress tech tradeshow. The MWC is going to be held between 26th February and 1st March this year, which might mean that the device will be made available commercially sometime in March or April.
