Nokia 7 has become one of the latest Nokia smartphone to become official as the company unveiled its latest mid-range handset at an event in China. Among the highlights of the handset is the 7000 series aluminum body and with the protection of Corning Gorilla Glass. In fact, the Nokia 7 rear panel uses 3D glass thermoforming technology for casting and features with rounded corners.
Price and availability
The all-new Nokia 7 has been launched first in China and will be going on sale starting from the next Tuesday. It comes in two RAM variants: 4GB RAM priced at CNY 2,499 which is roughly Rs. 25,000 in Indian currency and 6GB RAM at CNY 2,699 which is roughly Rs. 26,500 in Indian currency.
Specifications
The Nokia 7 runs on stock Android version 7.1.1 Nougat and comes with timely software update promise from the company. HMD Global has also confirmed that the Nokia 7 is Android Oreo-ready. It features 5.2-inch IPS 2.5D display having the screen resolution 1080×1920 pixels and also comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on the screen. The smartphone features the new octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 which is clocked at 1.8GHz. There’s 64GB storage and comes with further expandable storage up to 128GB via microSD card of up to 128GB.
On the camera front, the Nokia 7 sports a 16-megapixel primary rear camera with an aperture of f/1.8 lens and dual tone flash. At the front department, there’s 5-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture. The handset comes with USB Type-C port and also supports NFC connectivity options. The handset sports a fingerprint scanner which is placed at the back. It packs with a battery capacity of 3000mAh which is a non-removable one. It measures 141.2×71.4×7.9mm with respect to its length x height x thickness .
