Samsung Galaxy Note 8 crosses over 72,000 pre-bookings in India, while the registrations to purchase the handset have reached more than 1.5 lakh.The overall registrations have touched 2.5 lakh units ahead of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Event on Tuesday, September 12.

Samsung launch Samsung Galaxy Note 8 in India today (12th September) which is the same day when iPhone plan to unveil iPhone 8. Galaxy Note 8 sale will start from September 15 in the US.The phone was unveiled on August 23 in New York, and it went up for pre-orders in the US starting August 24.
Samsung Galaxy Note 8 comes with 6.3-inch FullVision Quad HD+ display with a resolution of 1440 x 2960.The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 or Exynos 8895 SoC coupled with 6GB RAM. The device also comes with a working stylus. The S Pen stylus has long been a signature feature of the Note brand.
The Galaxy Note 8 features a dual-camera setup, similar to the iPhone 7 Plus. Samsung uses two 12MP cameras, one of which employs a f/2.4 telephoto lens offering 2x optical zoom, while a secondary lens camera has an aperture of f/1.7. Both lenses benefit from an optical Image Stabilization (OIS). There’s an 8MP camera on the front of the Galaxy Note 8. Samsung Galaxy Note 8 runs on Android 7.1 Nougat and soon will be upgraded to Android 8.0 Oreo according to Samsung. The smartphone has 3300mAh battery.
